On a different thread, I asked about an upgrade to the MTPLM, I have just sent a request to Coachman about an upgrade for my 560 VIP, 2013 model, and the reply was only the original purchaser could have this and only within the first 12 months.
WHY. ?

I can't answer why !
But you need to get under the van and in the middle of tbe axle will be a plate telling you the max weight it can carry with that info and you all ready knowing the vans MTPLM you can work out for yourself if there is any gain as an example my MTPLM is 1600kg the axle plate is 1600kg obviously different manufacturers have there own way of doing things. ..

Thanks Your Highness and DD, I questioned Coachman this afternoon , and the reply was that I might have modified the caravan. Ok next time up to the van will check out the plate underneath. Then get SWMBO, to remove cooking books. As she nearly always get me to buy her lunch out anyway.
But this weekend, SWMBO, dropped a jar of pickeled Beetroot, luckily didnt hit the upholstery, fridge and everything else. Vaxed the carpet yesterday. All nice and clean again.

Still baffled by this one. They wojld upgrade it for the first purchaser even though he might have altered it but not you. The figure should be based on the capacity of the chassis and I am not sure what modification would change that.
