have freelander1.8 petrol.How does it tow? Would like to buy Swift Challenger 25.4cwts is this too big? c and c club say 23.9cwts max but that means quite small 2 berth and would like two berth with a bit more room! Any advice most appreciated thanks.
 
I tow a 1366kg van with my Freelander TD4 and it tows it well. From my limited experience of the 1.8 petrol I feel it struggles to pull its self along, let alone with a caravan in tow. If you are going to tow with it I would suggest you go for a light van.
