Dont know if you are member of CC,but Hurn Lane CC site in Burnham-on-sea was a nice family site,walking distance to front and short drive to WSM !

We stayed at Home Farm, Edithmead, Burnham on Sea last July and had a wonderful time. Daughters (9 and 6 at the time) had a great time. Food and family entertainment at night but not at all intruisive if you want a quieter time.
 
We stayed at Hurn Lane CC site last year. A lovely site with excellent facilities. However, if you are taking a dog(s) along with you forget it. The dog walks is down a narrow lane which is very winding and amazingly d-restricted!!! Very dangerous as the locals tend to travel that stretch at the speed limit (60 mph) and walking from the site (to anywhere) is taking your life in your hands!
