wet locker

planning to fit a wet locker to my lunar lexon eb.find the van very lacking in this area i,e n/s storage. doesn,t look a bad job if i can source a good 2nd hand locker. anyone ever done this sort of project any tip,s welcome. also any info on good 2nd hand spares.

I have fitted a few external locker doors.Cassette toilet doors are ideal for under a wardrobe in end washroon vans.

The method I use is to make a cardboard template and ensure that the locker frame fits it snugly.

I then drill a small hole from the inside where I want the frame to sit before taping the template to the outside of the van.

You need to protect the inner piece (the cut out) as this is used for the centre panel of the door.

Use mastic tape round the opening and stainless screws.Just put the screws in without pre-drilling as the aluminium is very thin.

Look in yellow pages for any local breakers or caravan mag adverts.

I didn't as the frame is quite substantial but I did when I fitted a rear window to the Ace !!
