Hi,
I have just fitted a Whale water heater to replace the Carver in my 2000 Swift the latter having corroded through, and can be fitted by any DIY person over the weekend. As my van was due a service the gas supply was checked at the same time as the service.
All I can say it is a great piece of kit and a good price (direct from Whale)

The Whale heater is indeed a very good bit of kit.
With Carver spares now at a premium due to lack of them, it is fast becoming more economically sensible to replace them when they go wrong, and I believe that Whale are doing a reduced price for a while, and if you decide on a Truma Ultrastore, they are offering a "trade in " reducing the initial cost of their units.
