Whale Aqua Source problem

Hi, i just fitted my new whale aqua source to my bailey ranger 550/6, it clicked into place ok but when i turned the mains water on, the water was leaking a lot out of the socket, any help would be appreciated, thanks

Hi Cliff,

2 immediate possibles spring to mind;-

Once the connector is fully pushed home are you then closing the flap down as far as the connector will allow, as I believe this assists with the keeping the adaptor in place against the seals.

The system is only designed for a certain operating pressure (I can't recollect what the figure is) but if the mains pressure you rigged up to exceeds the maximum, it could also cause a leak at the connecting block,

Cheers,

Ken.

Hi Cliff,

Check the rubber "O" ring to ensure it is seated correctly or for any damage such as a small nick etc...

Not much else to go wrong with it apart from this seal.

Good luck hope this helps.

thanks Ken, i did close the flap down fully as i would on the normal connection, i thought this system was supposed to handle any water mains. i will contact the supplier to see if they have any solutions.

cheers
