Whale Aquasource

I am looking to buy the above so that we don't have to drag the aquaroll and wastemaster on short weekends. Do they fit onto an ordinary tap. Also, approximately how much waste pipe is needed. Thanks in advance, Helen.

Helen :

Take a look at two recent posts of mine "How to avoid the Water Run ?!" and "How to avoid the Waste Water Run ?!", in which your proposed purchase was specificaly mentioned I believe.

Helen-you might find the Aquasource is not as good as you might expect. I use mine to fill the onboard water tank, but that's all.

The problem with this unit is that the connector block to the van contains a pressure reducing valve, as its not desirable to have mains pressure within the van. This valve has the effect of reducing the flow rate as well. I found that the flow from taps was less with Aquaflow mains than the usual 12v pumped supply! I'm sure this has been documented by others too. Whale can modify the valve, but the trade off is you have to accept a higher pressure within the van as well...

Its a nice idea, but the unit needs developing further
