Whale Expanse water heater on test

That sounds like what they fit to the Bailey Advance range. The trouble is you also need a blown air heater (also Whale) so I am wondering if there is any overall weight saving compared to the Truma Combi boiler? I suspect the Combi is bulky in comparison?

Hi David

Thank you for your comment. The Bailey Advance range uses the Whale 8L Rapid Heat Water Heater which is not the product outlined in the article above. Using a Whale Space Heater together with the Expanse Water Heater is approximately the same weight as the product you refer to. However, you are correct that due to the underfloor installation of both products, considerable internal space savings are achieved and gives the manufacturer a blank canvas to create their vehicle layouts without the heating system limiting their decisions.

Thanks
