whale tap problem

Our cold tap just keeps turning round and round. Is it the thread that's gone and if so, does anyone know how to fix it? We are caravan newbies.

The spindle has broken and it needs a new tap top.

Pull the old one off and inside the center of the spindle hole you will see the remains of the old spindle.

Use a long chipboard screw to just go far enough into the old piece to enable you to pull it out.
