Whale Water Heater on Elddis Avante 840

Hi Team,

I have an Elddis 2017 Avante 840 fitted with a Whale water heater.....
I have an issue whereby on certain sites on electricity alone the water heats straight up to 69 degrees but does not on other sites....
I can only get the optimum heat when I do a gas boost...
It should reach this consistent optimum 69 degree temp on electric alone...?
Why should this happen...? Is it to do with the available amps on sites as there is always enough power from what I use....?
Really struggling with this as I have had this issue since we purchased the van...

Your problem is certainly strange. I don't know the details of the Whale heater, but the symptoms suggest a thermostat is not working correctly.
