I believe that it is the noise the telephone makes to alert one's staff that there is an incoming telephone call to be answered.......

It is called By The Seaside. I do change them sometimes, so it could be anything next week.
I have a dog barking for E mails and bells for text messages at the moment but if the mood takes me they may go.

I used to have the national anthem. It was brilliant, a few people asked where I got it from. I even had some people who were offended, when that happened I ask the wife to keep ringing me. I don’t know what it is now.

That's the point Anseo, I don't give it out, don't want people ringing it. - Managed 50 years without a mobile, can do a few years more (hopefully?) One problem with that is that alot of on line 'things' ask/require a mobile number when registering, have refused many times to give mine. They don't even allow you not to have a mobile. Found a way round it, -- my mobile number is now given as 12345678-- seems to work and satisfy the 'system' to be able to register. (Now if that is someones number?? -- Apologies) ;) ;) ;)

Being hard of hearing I have Johnny B Goode by Chuck Berry as my ringtone as it's one of the loudest intro's to a song I have on my phone.

Until recently it was an Indian man saying “Ring ring please answer your phone” I got it in Mumbai from a guy I met in a bar. But with my hearing not as sharp as it was, I have now changed it to a recording of my dogs welcoming Postie. So much more noticeable.

When my wife rings it’s the theme to Captain Pugwash.
