What about a picture ID

Wouldn't it be a good idea if we could have a photo next to our user ID on the left hand side when using the forum. That way everyone can show off their outfits.

Unfortunately the forum engine is rather antiquated and will not support such niceties at the moment, much as it does not support editing facilities and other features as found on many other forums.

However, we are told that a new engine is on the way, but when is another matter.
 
What I can't understand is this ...

a member off this forum can go and set up his own all singing/dancing caravanning forum, with all the bells and whistles that allow avatars, smiley's, posting of pics and a chat room yet Haymarket, with all their millions have a forum that goes back almost to the Webs creation.

Ever since I've been on here they have been going to provide a new forum engine.
 
I can only make an assumption, probably wrongly, that it may have something to do with not actually deriving an income from the forums, but paying for server space, which must be minimal with the attributes the current engine employs.

I also do not really understand why it is taking so long to make a change to a better system.
