What Awning for ranger 500/5

Hi all - just about to get the new van, however am abit stumped on all the types of awnings.

We would ideally like an awning that can be used virtually all year round, so needs to be strong - also one that can clip in an inner tent for extra 'guests' etc.

What would you recommend ??.

Also, ar those new telescopic awning poles really that good - does it make the whole experience easier - always remember seeing people fall out whilst setting these things up.....

We have a Bradcot active which is great with the telescopic poles - dead easy to erect and dismantle (as long as the wife doesn't get involved!!) we have had it up in gale winds and it has stood the test but if you go with this one ask re Bradcot storm straps as theirs is special and any of the full length ones invalidate their warranty
