What do I carry for emergency breakdowns whilst in France

Could anyone update me on the current situation for the carrying of flourescent jackets and warning triangles whilst driving through France?

Also is there anything else needed for legal reasons?

Rob, that list is slightly inaccurate:

It says 'It is also recomended that when high visibility vests are required they are kept in easy reach'

In France it's compulsory that it is in the body (not boot) of the vehicle.
