hI guys, may sound a bit of a daft question

but on my recently purchased dorema awning, when it goes through the rail bit, at both ends there is excess that sticks out (not loads) so what do i do with it, does it just stay there?

i have these plastic trim bits on the end, am i suppose to remove these? also the draught skirt is quite long, i know i need to trim this down, but dont want to just yet incase i have to remove the plastic bits.

i do have pics, but unsure how to load them up now with photobucket been no good any more.

thanks,H

p.s...the awning is correct size for my caravan

not sure of the design of the new dorema awnings [photos would help] but mine had the same bits on it. they are there to accommodate the different shapes that vans come in. as Hutch said when set up square just fold them in.
