So why do they all leak causing damage? Arguably as , allegedly no timber is used , should the water ingress cause damage?
The floors on some models are a damp risk, yet the all composites with no timber are still subject of many Warranty claims.
Habitation equipment hasn’t changed much🤔

Pretty poor rubbish but we all, love it🤪🤪

I seem to remember seeing a caravan being made from GRP that was manufactured using an all around mould with just an a hole so as to allow the operative to clamber inside and apply the GRP by spray..I assume the mould was in separate sections..might even have floated 😄..Gary

Eriba (I think!) still use a one piece fibreglass bodyshell. The Swift approach certainly reduces the chances of structural damage through water ingress but it doesn’t stop problems with other areas of the build. We keep looking at Adria, traditional build/design techniques but seemingly very good quality and reliability

Erica are aluminium on a metal framework. Think Freedom may be all grp. Adria do have a good reputation and seem to do well in the annual surveys of used caravans. They mirror German design appearances.
