as you go in the door above your head you have got the main

switches and battery and water tank gauge.next to that there

is what looks like a light switch with a small amber light in

the corner.someone did tell me that because we have the big

fridge/freezer it is for a fan for it can any 630 owners shed

Could it be an interior light switch. If we switch the ceiling light on by the light we have a switch by the door so as at night when we go out we can switch it of by the door and switch it on by the door when we return.

I have a Abbey Spectrum 2004 with the same switch. If you switch the switch on a small light (LED) glows on the casing of the switch. The is a option to turn the power and light off with a remote control fob. I got two fobs with my van, one for the alarm and the other for the lights and power. To work the switch above the door must be on. This switches on the radio reciever

I use mime at night. If we go out I turn the switch on, lock the van, jump in the car press the fob the lights go out with the tv

hope this help

markyboy and shirley....Ian is right, my 05 Spectrum has the same switch and fob.

A word of warning though. We lost all our 12volt power on our return to site one night. We were able to sort out the problem, with the help of an auto electrician the following day but it was trial and error and we stumbled across a remedy.

He tested the circuits and finaly removed (then refitted) the relays located under the front offside bedbox. Hey Presto this reactivated the system. As soon as we used the fob again the fame fault occured.

Our dealer had not experienced this fault before but they contacted Swift who confirmed they had identified some issues with the circuits. They provided a new fob. It turned out that by removing the relays and refitting them the circuit was broken, as if the fob had been used.

The fault has not re-occured....but do we trust the system???
