what size flexible cable for 230v sockets?

hi thinking of fitting another socket in my van . just querying what size flexible 3 core cable i would need?

hi there.

you will need 16amp cable with 3 cores. and a 16amp connector block.

The regs. state 2.5 mm 3 core frexable cable, the new cable will be the new colour code brown/live blue/neutral yellow-green/earth
