What Spares do you carry on a trip?

Can't break the habit of carrying tools and bits from my young days long ago as a Service Engineer. Habitually spend Late winter early spring in Spain and word has got round the site, so I do quite a few fixes with what I carry and what can be found locally. I,ve made my own test sets for caravan road lights, and carry a selection of tape mastic, adhesives, electrical connectors, terminals etc. A bit sad really, but you get to know folk much better than just saying hello and it keeps the brain active.
Unfortunately with my current van I've probably spent more time working on it than on others, but all in a good cause

Sudden thought, as we have Tyron bands , on the van, and we tour France, is it worth getting the Tyron tool in case of a puncture. Or could I get away with a pair of wood clamps. What does the King Suggest. .

It's one of those big iffffffffs πŸ˜‰ expensive piece of kit to carry around but could get you out of the sticky stuff if needed when you get the dreaded problem, my self i only carry the extended Allen key as most tyre mobile fitters will carry the spider or as you say a few G clamps to compress the tyre to remove & refit the Tyron band back into place ...

To be honest one of these might be a better buy as you can see whats happening whilst driving.

Looked for the Allen Key, lost it in one of the tool boxes, any know what size it is please. As for the tool. Coulpe of G clamps which I carry anyway.
Ok Your Highness, could be a nice afternoon seeing who carries what . At the Woosie fest. :woohoo:
