Any one know what this switch does it is under the O/S seat at the front of a Abbey spectrum 215 1990?

Looks like an additional added switch by some one, have you traced the wires back to see where they go?

Not yet as few other more important jobs to do first, but will have to. The trim it sits on looks like it is part of the van not an add on.

Agree the trim does look part of teh origianal van and suspect it is there to protect the wires you can see at the other end, ie; when you fill it up with all your bits and bobs.

Great fun though Spider when you get the first van just persevere and you will get there.
