hi every one ive just got back from cornwall towing senator wyoming with audi allroad 2.5 tdi only getting between 18 and 20 mpg thinking of ghanging to kia sedona or seat alhambra vw sharan seconhand any thoughts on the combinations please many thanks brian from cannock ps im having senator louisiana this friday bit lighter thanks again.

Brian,

Unless you're especially want to change; then the cars cited will give no difference what so ever. MPG is very dependent on two things the weather conditions and the drivers right foot.

As your car is a Audi 2.5 tdi I would check three things with your local diesel specialist garage .

The mass air meter or MAF

The EGR valve

That you car hasn't slipped into safe mode. We had the this happen with our Sharan and what a difference it made.

Hi Brian,

Your car seems thirsty i tow a twin axle senator montana with a Volvo V70 D5 AWD & on average return about 27MPG. Been down to cornwall twice this year & it averaged about 25MPG those hills on the A30 dont help. I think you will miss the awd if you change your car.
