Saw awful pictures on the news tonight the remains of a caravan which had been involved in an accident with two lorries on the A14.

It looked like a heap of matchwood.

I wondered if it was someone just going off on holiday or coming back from one. My heart goes out to them and just hope they were insured.

Accidents involving always look more spectacular than they really are. Few are actually fatal. Because of their lightweight construction and use of low cost material (wood), caravans have a habit of disintegrating at first impact with any hard object.
