Caravan model years run from 1st September the previous year to 31st August - so a 2010 model year caravan would have been built from September 2009 to August 2010.

It's not unusual for stock to remain unsold for a year or two after build - dealers can legally describe them as new but misrepresentation of the model year is an offence under Trades Description Act.

Looking at the last PC survey results Campbells sold a lot of caravans but did not appear in the awards which would worry me. Trouble is Lunar currently have no dealers in West of Scotland you had to go to Kirkcaldy caravans although there is now a dealer in Perth but both are a long haul from Glasgow.
