what's included?

we have ordered a brand new caravan at the recent NEC show, as we have always had older second hand models previously we wondered what extras do we have to purchase separately for example a Gas Hose with tails for the new fixed bulkhead regulator?

we do know a spare wheel with tyre is included but that's about all we do know

Robin, first of all, look at the specification for your new van and it will show what is included, ex works.

The dealer should provide a suitable pigtail for whatever gas you intend to use, maybe even supply you with both Propane and Butane.

Everything else is down to negotiation with the supplying dealer.

NOT included in any new van is:

Battery, Water Containers, Hitchlock (unless specified in the brochure), Wheel lock (again unless specified), Gas Bottle(s), waste water pipes to connect to waste water container(from outlet), Jack(unless specified).

Only a very mean dealer would not throw in a suitable pigtail.

I am sure that all new vans come with a mains hook up lead and waste water pipes but everything else is down to negotiation if not supplied as per spec.

I think we may go over to have a chat with the dealer soon and see what we can get for free, or is it too early as delivery of the new van is not till the end of March

They all have to come with mains lead and a step by law,usually have the gas connector all else is down to you or negotiation,when i bought a van at the NEC I got Aquarolls,awning,hitch lock and various other bits because I played one dealer off against another.
