Please note that this is a 12v plug and socket, so you need a 12v facility TV - if you are about to purcase one here are two useful links:


 
Personally looking at the price of 12v tv's I would simply opt for a 12v - 240v invertor that would power a standard tv. Much cheaper from what I can.
 
Are there benefits from using a 12v TV rather than a mains unless of course there's no mains available..(W4 used to make the 2 pin plug for the socket shown)
