Wheel arch cover

Ok it's dumb question time again, our awning skirt came with a wheel arch cover, one edge of which( the bottom) attaches to the skirt using a figure of 8 shaped plastic strip, that bit i can follow. The top edge however appears to attach to the caravan using 2 3" x 2" pieces of Velcro, heres the dumb bit - am i supposed to stick these bits of velcro to the wall of the caravan and if i do, do they stay there for good or can they be removed when we pack the awning away and re - used next time?

I did this with our wheel arch cover and my advice is don't bother, the glue melts in heat and gets all over the caravan and your hands.

I did the following after getting cheesed off with the velcro, it stays put and does not make a mess.

Go to your local pound store and buy
