wheel clamp help

Hi all can anyone recommend a good lightweight wheel clamp for alloy wheels 14" i have bought a NEMESIS but too heavey thanks Mark

Hi Mark

We have just bought a Nemesis, and I agree they are heavy.

We haven't used ours yet as we pick up our caravan next weekend.

I spoke to the technical department at Towsure about the choice of wheel clamps when we were looking at buying one. The guy told me this is one of the best on the market at the moment. They rate it beyond gold sold secure. The guy told me that the heavier and more difficult it is to get on, the harder it is to get off.

As the saying goes though "If they want your van, nothing will stop them"

Would you put a cheap padlock on your front door?

I guess not.

The lightweight wheel clamps are merely a visual deterrent - they don't add up to much really.

Stick with your heavyweight item - it's protecting something very precious to you.

The Purpline Excalibur is good for alloy wheels and can be fitted to Alko wheel clamp receivers or use its own receiver that is fitted from behind the wheel and incorporates a wedge

They sell for about

I found the Nemesis to cumbersome and even though i took great care i ended up marking my alloy wheels.

I use a SAS gridlock one side and a SAS superclamp the other. The Milencowheel clamp one is quite good and compact
