I have read recently in the Caravan Club mag' about wheels, it states that steel and alloy wheels have different profiles within the holes where the fixing bolts secure the wheels to the hubs. My 'van is fitted with alloy roadwheels but has a steel spare wheel. Is it necessary to carry different bolts to use if I need to fit the spare or are the bolts that secure the original alloy wheel OK to use?
