When should you replace gas hose?

How old should flexible gas hoses be before renewing? The hose on my Cadac is dated 2003, should I replace it even though it appears to be totally sound without visible cracks or damage.
Also whilst I think about it, what is the life of a standard regulator?
many thanks

The maximum recommended life of flexible hoses is 3 years, providing it is still in good condition.
It should be changed, regardless of age if it is damaged in any way.
