Hi, I can see the Motorhome Buy & Sell forum but I’m sure that there was a Caravan one as well? Is it hidden inside another forum? Too lazy to search! 🤣

I believe it went when the PM system was removed.
I would have thought the motorhome one would have gone for the same reason.

Because the marketplace relied on direct messaging between forum members, and this facility was ended the market place was also ended.
The Buy and Own section in the Motorhome area of the forum is for discussion about prospective purchases or general motorhome shopping. You can’t buy or sell in it

Sold my last car and caravan with a classified add on eBay cheaper than auto trader.
Just sold my awning as well went within 2 hours of placing the advert 😎

All you have to do is mention, where you have placed it for sale, and someone will look, and maybe contact you.

A thought on the for sale forum:

I know it went because without DM it's not possible to contact the seller without them posting email or telephone number publicly which is not a good idea.

However could it not be reinstated but only include stuff that's for sale elsewhere such as FB market place or eBay with a link provided. Contact details are then covered by the other sites so nothing is public here.

I sell stuff through eBay as it's easy cheap simple and safe and would happily post a link to any caravan related stuff that I might be selling.

How would PCv know it's you on FB etc? When the ban started last year a lot of us felt it was draconian but I guess we have to respect the publishers decision.
