Where can I buy a Honda Generator Cover

Hi,

I have just bought a Suitcase style Honda Generator and wondered if anyone could tell me where I can Buy a cover. I need the cover for when it is working. Whilst away last week-end I noticed someone had a very nifty cover, it was green and had written on Geni Cover Up and it looked very neat but I can't seem to find one on the internet. Hope someone can Help.

Cheers Robin

Hi Robin

if you are looking for a cover that you can use while the generator is running , then have a look at , www.sewnsos.co.uk

they make a cover / bag , you can use it as a cover while running ,then zip it up and it turns into a bag to store your generator in when not in use.

it is waterproof on the outer and lined with firt retardent , hope that this helps

Hi Robin

I have a eu10i - I have heard some bad things about covers, they do not allow the heat from the generator to dissipate properly. This can, at best reduce performance and lifespan & at worst induce total failure. I use a large plastic storage box (couple of quid from B&Q), cut both ends away and put over the genny upside down. Keeps the rain off and allows air movement all around.
