thanks cris not sure if bahamas is an option !
To be honest we took our kids everywhere with us. The travel cot fitted in the van ( bit of a pain at times ) and doubled as a play pen in the awning when the babes got moving and we needed to do something and put them down. the thing had extra bits on the feet tou cold fold out in the day so the could stand when a bit bigger and not tip out!

They just take so much gear.

I have a thing for Velcro gadgets for caravans. Some on the babygro back and some on the bed ;-)

Hi, our little ones are a bit older than yours 18 mths but they are still in cots at home. We are going on our first trip at Easter and I have bought a Tomy bed guard which slots under the mattress and nearly encloses the bed. We are using one on a bottom bunk and the side dinette which turns into a bed. We have 18month old twins and a 4 yr old - should be fun. Denise.

Hi Paul.

We have had our Bailey Pageant Moselle for 3 years, and we are on our second baby. Our eldest was 7 months when she went on her first caravan outing, and our second baby was just three months old. (they are now 3 and half and 13 months.) We bought a fold up 'tomy bedside rail' from Argos. (But it is not the one in the current catalogue) It had very thin hinge, which we could wedge between the bed matress and the wooden side panel. They are light weight and telescopic, and don't take up much space. When they get old enough to sit up we use a booster seat meal tray to 'restrain' them when making the beds up etc, or giving them thier meal. Good luck.
