Mod 1, I didn't see any of the replies to my posting (I started the thread) after I left yesterday so I'm not aware of what was said. But why did you feel the need to delete my original posting?? Why not delete the insulting comments only??

There were over 30 posts, most of them by 2 or 3 members indulging in an exchange of childish insults.

There's no easy way to delete multiple posts in our control centre - it means opening posts one at a time to delete them. Then there follows complaints, "Why did you delete my post and not his .....".

There is one way to remove multiple posts, and that is it delete the first post. The rest all go with it.

We try to avoid this rather drastic solution, but as the majority of the posts were unacceptable on an enthusiasts forum like this, and the thread didn't really belong in the General forum (Express your views and let off steam about general caravanning issues) I opted for the simplest solution.

Please feel free to re-post your question in the Chit Chat forum.
 
I'm pleased to see this thread was removed too. Good work Mod. And I apologise for causing you more work since I added to the original topic too.

Onwards and Upwards, eh? ;-)
