As the weather was fine and sunny today we took a trip to Weston Super Mare, on the way you drive right past Mendip Caravans and as you do we popped in fo a look round.
We have bought 2 caravans from Mendip, the first second hand and our present one brand new. Like I said the weather was warm and the dealership was packed with eager caravan buyers, but one thing was missing, second hand vans.
In the past at Mendip they have always had a good stock of used vans but today there was row after row of new stock and not much used.
So if everyone one is buying new because the deals are so good, put it this way they had brand new Bailey Ranger's for a few pounds more than a year old one, where are the used vans hiding ?
It seems over the past year or so they seem to have more new than used, but if you travel to Highbridge caravans they have hundreds of used vans and as much new stock. Just goes to show not all dealers are the same.
P.S Like I have asked before, can anyone tell me what is Super about Weston ?
