WHICH AWNING TO BUY????

I have recently ordered a new Bailey Pageant Burgundy and am eagerly awaiting it's arrival in the next fortnight.

I let the awning go with the old caravan and am now deciding which to buy.

The old one was a Bradcot Classic, which did an excellent job and i was going to order another one. I spotted the Pyramid awnings on the Towsure website and they are considerably cheaper to buy.

Has anyone had experience of Pyramid awnings and are they worth buying, or should i stick with Bradcot?

Regards, Mike

We had a pyramid awning, it was put up just the once, it was not a patch on the Dorema's that we have always had, like you I was attracted by the price, but as they say, you get what you pay for, it was returned and a Dorema ordered, and it is great as usual.go and have a look at a Pyramid and see for yourself, then you will be able to decide,.

Nothing wrong with Pyramid awnings I have had a Tuscany awning for the last 2 years very strong robust and up to any thing the weather can throw at it. I can certainly recommend it.

Same here, had my 900cm Tuscany for almost 2 years now and no troubles.

The only thing I've changed is the awning pole brackets to Dorma ones (easier to fit).

I would deffo get Pyramind again.

have you looked at the nr awnings, we've got a nr pullman its now in its fourth year and going strong, there resonably priced and you can go on their web site and order direct

We have owned various awnings over the years and when we changed our van last year we decided to try something new.

We went for an Inaca Alba available from Barrons. This is the best awning we have ever had. Easy to erect with strong zips and ventilation panels in both sides. It even has blinds on the outside of the windows. Not the cheapest, but by far the best.

hi we have just ordered a new bradcot classic we was really impressed with it.

my in laws have a eurovent and swear by it. the best deals on the eurovent are with jacksons camping shop, new arley. you can shop on line with them and they stock all the spares.

some of the deals are 10%-20% off and sometimes a free ground sheet.

HAd a Pyramid awning - bought it brand new - used it once and sold it for peanuts. Very dissatisfied with it - as they say you pay for what you get. Had 16 poles over after erecting it.

Hi Mike,

We have the same van and we use a Dorema Cardinal which we had resized up by Dorema and it fits like a dream. Had it4 years now without any problems. Its not a Isabella but it is good
