Which Awning?

I am looking to purchase a budget full size awning to fit our Bailey Ranger 550/6. I have looked at the Rialto in this years Towsure brochure and the Pyramid Tuscany. (both about £370). Has anyone out there any experience of these awnings or have any suggestions for alternatives.

Thanks inadvance

Ewan

Had a Pyramid awning with previous caravan - was not very satisfied with it. Paid extra for aluminium poles which when used were bending, had 16 aluminium poles left over after erecting the awning, instruction for erection not very good. All in all it was a cheap awning compared to Isabella. etc. and it showed.

Have you thought about one of the lightweight awnings. I've bought an Ultima 390 for the new van. It's a lot less hassle to put up and it's a lot lighter. Theres loads of room inside to.

On the downside though it's not as sturdy or as hard wearing as a 'normal' awning, but i wouldn't be putting one up in bad weather anyway.

Were going to Gairloch for the weekend at the end of the month to give it a try so we'll let you know if it's any good,

Gavin.
