Which damper?...

Im pretty certain that I need to replace the hitch damper on out Elddis Typhoon GT. I think its a '96 but to be honest im not certain.

I am pretty competent with car mechanics (I can rebuild an engine type competency) , so im not too worried about being able to do it....

One of the issues I have though is how I work out what type to replace it with.... I dont think the one fitted has any markings left on it...

Any ideas?

Jimmy you could try Looking in Towsures Web site and compare a hitch on there with yours.Thats the free way to do it.Im sure other ideas will follow .

Why not use the opportunity to obtain a more modern hitch from a caravan breaker?

The damper would still need to be the same as original.

I believe Elddis used BPW chassis until recently changing over to Al-Ko.
