Richard,

If it's a classic caravan, or one with a very active owners club, or a caravan with a specialist following - then I'd go with that caravan forum or owners web-site.

If it's a generic white shed of a caravan - then maybe the owners club is worth a go, or somewhere like preloved.co.uk - it's free and has a good following.

You could try E.Bay online. Your local free paper or Friday aid, Loot or just a post card in shop window any thing which is free or little cost. Having you tried putting a free advert on the 'Selling' section of this (Practical Caravan) website - I know not a lot of people mention it, but as it's free then why not.

Go to the Home Page, then Buying Used, then the 'Sell - create your own advert' - worth doing for nothing.

Hi Richard

I found my van on Ebay I would go for this way & you will get more than @ a dealers, plenty of people want a van without being ripped of @ dealerships

Dear All,

Have a look at www.practicalcaravan.com/forsale where we've added a new classified service which is free of charge for private sellers. It's new, but we'd love your feedback.
