Which porch awning?

Hi All

Can anybody reccomend a reasonably priced porch awning?

We are a family of four and need an awninmg that can be quickly and easily erected for keeping muddy shoes and deck chairs in.

We to have the Ultima 260, found it much better than the Scenic we used to have, look on this site www.awnings.co.uk they delivered it in to days and i think it cost about

For a conventional porch, I can recommend the NR Coniston Luxe - it's big enough for all our needs and will stand up to prolonged gale force winds.

hi magnus we had a scenic plus awning but find the new ultima 260 far better far more space and only takes about 5 - 10 mins

to put up ours cost about

i would say the 260 is the best it's far larger than the nr porch awning, i have have an nr before and have just bought a 260 from awnings.co.uk, rapid delivery and it's huge inside and can be put up by 1 person in 5 mins no trouble and is wind proof. Well worth the money but don't buy it on ebay as it's more expensive that way.

Before you commit to buying a particular awning, check where the awning will fit on your van, we have had problems in the past finding an awning that did not cover half a window, once you have a measuremant that will fit you can check most manufacturers sizes on the internet, we have bought our last two awnings from ebay, one brand new the other only used twice.

Hi we have the NR coniston Luxe as well. Ive now had it for 3 years and its a great awning . We had never used an awning before but when we bought our new van we decided to buy the coniston. Its great value for money and easy to put up and high quality and look great too (i think so anyawy). Highly recommened.
