Right side or off side front, plus near side rear ? A considered answer based on no previous knowledge. But your damage is rear near side left side.

This has done my head in!
Sitting in the car towing ,my caravan entry door is on the left, the passengers side , the NS as we call it . I need the trim panel which fits on my left side , near side rear. There seems to be a contradiction or I have really lost the plot and need some serious help🤪🤪

.....there are two different parts available.
One is described as RH and the other described as LH.
The RH part will fit offside front and nearside rear.
The LH part will fit nearside front and offside rear.

When referring to vehicles.....

The Near side, is the side  nearest the kerb, which is the Left hand side when looking firwards from the rear.
The Off side is the side furthest from the kerb, which is the Right hand side, looking forwards from the rear.

Simples!!

That’s what I thought but as you can see that’s not the case🙀

What I detailed has been the universally accepted norm since the earliest days of motoring.
If anyone chooses to go against that then they are going against the accepted norm.

Left and right is simply as if you are standing inside the van facing forwards.
In the UK we also say nearside for the side nearest the kerb (as previously stated) but in Europe it is always left and right side as noted above.

Just get the other one as well; then whichever way around they go; both sides will match. 👍

The original post is perfectly clear. The items are handed so they will fit either one of the opposing  corners.

Here’s the final word from Bailey. Interesting take!

Hello

Thank you for your email.

The L/H is to advise that when your looking at the side of the caravan this part will find on the left hand side.

I am sorry I cannot edit or amend the order. The part that you need for the other side is 1100025.

Kind regards

Becky

In fairness to Bailey I have ret.urned the wrong one and hopefully will receive a refund soon. They have been pretty good in the past.
I ordered the correct one a few days ago but sadly it will not be available until end of August!
