Im looking to get my van insured ive called a couple of companies but because my van is from 1979 and because i use it for work as well from time to time i work as a dumper driver for an earthmoving company so i stop on local farms to the area im working, they say
1. my van is too old for them to be interested in insuring it i was actually told whats the point in insuring something so old!!! cant remember the name of the company that told me this
2. because im using it for work purposes they will only insure me for leasure and touring
anyone else use their caravan for the same purposes any advice will be greatly received

Youngblood, it depends what the van is, but I do my 1979 Royale on agreed value with Caravan Rescue insurance, based in Yorkshire. 0845 345 4525.You get to to speak to a real live human lady who knows about caravan insurance.Give them a try; it'll only cost you a phone call!
