Who will insure a caravan at business premises?

Hello, my wife and I have just bought our first caravan which we pick up next week. I have just tried to get insurance but because it is being stored at a business premises I can't seem to find anyone who will insure us.

Our home drive has no gates and we are often away so it would be fairly easy to steal from there.

My wife's business has a two metre high metal fence around it. It is on an industrial estate with several 24 hours large businesses. There is a security guard who visits every coulpe of hours and actually unlocks the factory car park gates and goes inside the alarmed building.

It is more secure than just about every caravan storage site I have seen and yet we can't get insurance!

Help please.

Iain.

That's the problem. The poor guard opens the gates , turns off the alarm and goes in for his "lunch" break. The thieves having cased the joint see he is a man of habit and then in a blink the caravan's gone.

Try the CC as previously sugested or a specialist Broker eg Adrian Flux.

Agree caravan club as they have no restrictions apart from hitchlock and wheelclamp but they do not state what level of sold secure they need to be.
