I eventually got the awning strip which I've fitted. Just a question for you folk - do you leave it in when travelling?

I’ve seen some arriving at sites with it in the offside rail.

I use them and travel with both sides in situ.

I dont think they totally eradicate the problem but they do help a little.

Yes we travel with both in. they do help a bit but cleaning the roof is the best solution. or keeping it clean. they focus the position of the grey streaks to fewer runs!

Yes we have them in both sides when we are travel our caravan roof gets cleans before we start the season and like JezzerB we have found less black streaks
