Why have we been off line so long?

I have been trying for ages to get on the website and it looks like other people have had trouble coming on line looking at the time of thee last postings.

Yesterday evening I typed quite a long and meaningful reply to another topic, read through it to see if there were any mistakes, corrected as necessary and then pressed the submit button. Lo and behold the d**n lot crashed out and disappeared. I was not a happy bunny (Lord B. if you have any bunnies and you are upset by this feed them to your dogs. That way I can kill two birds with one stone).

Hi Colin,

Two tips to save you loosing your hard work.

1. Just before you hit the submit button, highlight all your text, then press [CTRL] and [C] - this copies all of your typing into the clipboard - then if the site chokes - you can just use paste [Shift] and [Insert] to recover all your text

2. You may want to use the free Windows notepad to enter your text - then use the copy and paste trick to enter the text into the PC message

Both of these work with Spell Checkers
