Wifes finally retired

If you remember l wrote that l had retired early back in June 2008 and found it a strain has the wife still worked full time has district nursing sister which didn't allow us to enjoy caravanning has much has we liked. Well two weeks ago she finally finished, which now gives us those long weekends we craved for. l still do two days part time in the week, but it still allows us to have a four day break over the weekend. On our four separate weeks holiday we can now stay from Friday until a week the following Monday which give us a ten day break. Hopefully l can still work part time for another few years has l don't feel l could give up fully yet. We are about to pick the van up today from its first service and will be setting off on Wednesday for Blackshaw Moore for Easter to do some walking on the Roaches and around Tittersworth.I still have to work the Thursday but its only a ten mile journey back home. Its great now as the wife can stay at the van with the dogs until l get back late Thursday afternoon. Looking forward to this year where we don't have to plan around the wife’s career, as you can imagine no more weekends spoiled due to the wife having to do her weekend roster.

Thanks Parksy, starting this Wednesday for our Easter break followed in two weeks time with ten day break at Penrhos on Anglesey.
Then its the daughters wedding in June so we have and hectic couple of months, after the wedding its back to Anglesey to recuperate from the wedding.
