hi has any one been to the haven site "wild duck" in norfolk.we

are going in late october and was wondering if it is a busy site

etc, etc.
 
Only the once and we vowed never again. The local kids used to come in every night and congregate by the showers. The showers were a mess every morning. We complained as did most people and were told security would keep an eye on things. They did, next night we spotted the security man having a cigarette with the locals.
 
Been the once, a good few years ago before it was taken over by Haven. Pitches were situated in woodland, a bit on the crowded side I thought but it was o.k. Clean and no problem with noise or unruly behaviour at that time. If I'm thinking of the same site there was an indoor swimming pool which was fine. I can remember a clubroom which was so dark inside that you could hardly find your way about.

Overall the site was o.k. but I wouldn't rush back. This was approx 10/12 years ago so there has probably been a lot of changes. Good Luck.
