As I mentioned in my introduction post, I mostly wild camp so I've decided to start a thread where I post photos of my caravan around Ireland.

My wife and I went away this weekend for the first time in our 2006 Coachman Pastiche 520/4. Here's a photo of where we stopped for lunch on Friday:

And here's the wild camp we stayed at for the weekend:

Nice pictures........I sometimes wild camp but have always worried about security.
I have a very loud 12 volt siren fitted to my caravan that can be sounded if needed.
It once caused some Muppets to leg it when I sounded it.......they woke us up at 1 am by violently rocking the caravan.

I've never had a problem with security. I usually stay in very rural places, which keeps the yobos away. Car parks within a few miles of a town sometimes attract boy racers, but they're mostly just loud and annoying.

The only security issue I had this weekend was stopping this crowd from licking the caravan. It sounded like someone was rubbing sandpaper to the outside.
