As most of you are proberbly aware, We shall be collecting and staying for the weekend in our new (to use) van tomorrow.
Now I dont know who is more excited, the OH, Daughter, or Grandson?
It's none of them its ME.
Can't wait.

I remember our first trip out ever. It was to Cornwall and caravanning friends thought we were mad to go so far for the first trip. It was ok though except I couldn't remember out to get the water pump or heating working.

A nice man put me right though the following morning

You're right LB (again) it's not as though we havent done it before, but somehow this feels a bit special to us,
although the van is 2 years old to us it might as well be brand new.
This is not a feel sorry for myself reply but even the "newest" car we have had has been 8 years old
and it's going to tug our van.
The forecast is dry, so LB I'll toast you with my first pint, Cheers.
Ps Hope you wont miss me as I'll be with you tonight but then you can have some peice
for a few days.

I hope the wind drops for you tomorrow. Very breezy here in Wiltshire.
So this excitement is even better than waiting for Father Christmas

As it's a new caravan and you are a seasoned tugger don't forget to fully test everything whilst you away. Better to get any teething problems sorted out sooner than later.

I haven't, I've got to drive into Brum to collect No 3 son from a rock concert a bit later

Well today is our 44th wedding anniversary. Her Ladyship woke early, leant over me and gave me a kiss and said "happy anniversary". Awwwww ain't that nice. She then got up, got ready and her friend picked her up and now off she's gone to Crufts for the day leaving me dog sitting.
