I am looking at booking this site for July,does anyone have any info on this site,especially with regards to the fishing.

I went to this site a couple of years ago and to be honest I never saw a fish caught. The C&CC have a site at Ebury Hill near Shrewsbury with a pool and again I never saw a fish caught, infact I never even saw a fish moving.

A place that I've been told in these forums that is good for fishing is only about 6 miles from me ..

... but looking at the C&CC website recently I see they have taken the site on, probably as a managed site. I hope so because I would hate to see the fishing go downhill if it's as good as reported.
 
Went approximately 2 years ago - very nice site - our 6 year old son at the time caught plenty of fish and really enjoyed it.

Was it the tiddler pool that your son fished at the end of the site? I never saw anyone fishing that, only the larger pond thats surrounded by trees.
