Window Fogging

I have seitz windows dating from 1996 some of which are fogging. In other forums I have seen suggestions that you can remove plugs from the windows and let them dry naturally - my windows have no plugs.
Is it possible / sensible to drill holes in the inside skin, run a dehumidifier in the van for a few days then cover the holes? My main worry is cracking the whole window when drilling.

I think you are right to have concerns. I suspect the windows will have become brittle over the years. Possibly the adhesive joining the inner & outer skins has failed somewhere. It maybe possible to use a hair drier on a low heat setting to get the fogging to clear, alternatively it may clear itself if left in direct sunlight on a warm day. Once it has cleared run a bead of adhesive along the joint edge.
If you do drill holes you will need to source some plugs to fit or it will be a reoccurring problem.

Let the sun get to them, then they should clear. We have a problem with some of the windows in our conservatory at home , and when the sun gets on them they clear. i know they are glass, but should be the same with the van windows
